J1 Visa Program Options

Choose from two different options:

Option 1 – €699

The J1 BridgeUSA All-In Package, where we do all the hard work and sort out your pre-arranged jobs! We provide you with access to hundreds of ‘Premium’ J1 jobs via our jobs database / CIEE Direct . All the jobs available will have been pre-vetted, and we’ll set up the interview. We literally do all the heavy lifting! 

What’s included? 

  • J1 Visa Application processing 

  • DS-2019 – your Legal Work Authorization papers  

  • Access to our J1 job listings where you get to choose what job and where to work 

  • Access to hiring fairs 

  • 5 months emergency Medical Insurance ** 

  • SEVIS fee  

  • Pre-departure J1 Orientation 

  • Dedicated support from our experienced J1 Team 

**The insurance covers your emergency Medical expenses while in the US. We recommend you also take out a separate ‘Travel Insurance’ policy to cover you for things like cancellation and curtailment, personal belongings, legal costs, flight delays and more.  

Option 2 – €499

The J1 BridgeUSA DIY Package, where you find your own job and once you have your offer, you submit it to us for vetting and approval. And don’t forget, if you’re struggling to source a job, we won’t see you stuck! You can always upgrade to the All-In Package at a later date!

  • Vetting and approval of your job offer once you have sourced it – see our tips for finding a suitable summer job 

  • 5 months emergency Medical Insurance **

What’s Not Included?

  • Flights to the US – we recommend you wait until your visa is approved by the US Embassy before booking your flights. 

  • US Embassy Interview Fee – The fee is USD $185 and is paid directly to the US Embassy when you book your appointment. 

  • Your support Funds – you must have a minimum of USD $800 when entering the US. You may be asked to show proof of this when going through US Immigration, and we recommend you bring a copy of your bank statement to show you have access to these funds.
